About this event

Join us for a deep dive into camera set-up and techniques to help you unleash the magic of mirrorless. Canon Ambassador, Jacquie Matechuk will be here to explain how simple changes to your set-up can help capture the perfect moment!

Starting her photographic journey more than 20 years ago in the world of fast action motorsports, Jacquie found the transition to photographing wildlife, virtually seamless. Similarities were uncanny and the challenges, well, they offered the same heart-pounding boost of adrenaline. So, from recommendations on how you’re carrying your equipment in the field to the complex advantages of setting up your camera’s customizable features. Tonight, will be all about discovery & empowerment.

We have so much technology right at our fingertips, we just need to figure out how to keep up! And in this session, Jacquie will share her camera set-up, in-the-field experiences, and insight into how she’s put her R5 and R3 to work in the field capturing the beauty and complexity of our wildlife. This session will be focused on helping YOU leverage some of the mirrorless camera components you probably knew about (but may have never used) as well as ‘why’ behind her set-up and some great hacks when you’re headed out in the field.
